Tayco
Bridgeway

Tayco’s new agile power beam — two heights, configurable side tiles and inset privacy screens, with finishes that coordinate across the Tayco family.

Description Gallery Finishes Downloads

Overview

Bridgeway is Tayco’s agile power beam, new to the line — built so a Tayco floor’s panel, value and agile pieces share one finish family. Here’s how it works, and where it fits.

New, finish-matched agile beam

Bridgeway is Tayco’s agile power beam, new to the line — a central beam carries power and data while worksurfaces reconfigure around it. It comes in two heights (22″ and 29″), with a choice of foot styles and widths, metal, laminate or fabric side tiles, and it holds PET, glass or acrylic privacy screens in clean, inset rails. Its real distinction is coordination: paints and laminates match across Cosmo, Switch and Bridgeway, so panel, value and agile pieces read as one finish family.

Why we believe in this

Tayco is one of the best manufacturers we work with — nimble, genuinely service- and relationship-oriented, with a strong design-and-value orientation and reasonably short lead times (roughly 5–6 weeks). Its finishes coordinate across the family, so you can spec Cosmo panels, Switch and Bridgeway beams and have them all match. Bridgeway itself is a new addition and a well-considered one: two heights, configurable side tiles, and clean inset privacy screens make it flexible for real floors.

Our take

So here’s when we’d specify Bridgeway — and when we’d point you elsewhere.

We believe in it, which is exactly why we’ll be straight about fit. The honest version:

Specify it when

  • You’re on a Tayco floor and want agile beam runs that share the panel and value finish family.
  • You want power in the beam and a new, finish-matched agile option.
  • You want to mix panel, value and agile pieces as one system.
  • You value a manufacturer that shares our standards and backs us up when a project needs it.

Consider something else when

  • You want a standalone beam without the Tayco tie-in — a dedicated beam may be simpler.
  • Teams need real enclosure — a panel system fits better.
  • You want maximum open density — benching goes further.
  • You want a warmer, residential feel — a desking system gets there more easily.
Where we land: Bridgeway is Tayco’s new agile power beam — built so a Tayco floor’s panel, value and agile pieces share one finish family. When you don’t need the Tayco tie-in, a standalone beam may be simpler.
