C.I.T.É.
Laminate open-plan desking built for teamwork — single- or double-sided and 120-degree surfaces, with storage bases that double as support.
Overview
C.I.T.É. is desking built to bring people together: warm laminate surfaces, flowing 120-degree layouts, and storage that doubles as structure. Here’s how it works, and where it fits.
C.I.T.É. is laminate open-plan Desking — the paradigm for teams that want an open, collaborative floor. Groupe Lacasse built it to facilitate collaboration and interaction, with single-sided, double-sided and 120-degree surfaces (plus trapezoidal extensions) for flowing, angled layouts. Its clever move: storage-base modules that support the surfaces, so storage does double duty as structure, and tidy wire-management raceways keep power and data out of sight. Warm, flexible and open.

C.I.T.É. is our pick when a team floor should feel warm and connected. The 120-degree and trapezoidal surfaces let layouts flow and cluster naturally, the storage bases keep the footprint efficient by doing two jobs at once, and the raceways keep the whole thing tidy. An open floor naturally invites a little more sound and movement — so we add screens or acoustic elements wherever a little separation helps.
So here’s when we’d specify C.I.T.É. — and when we’d point you elsewhere.
Specify it when
- You want warm, human open-plan desking that brings people together.
- Flowing 120-degree layouts suit the floor.
- You want storage that doubles as structure.
- You value a manufacturer that shares our standards and backs us up when a project needs it.
Consider something else when
- Teams need real acoustic privacy and enclosure — a panel system fits better.
- The plan will reconfigure constantly — an agile beam reconfigures faster.
- You want maximum shoulder-to-shoulder density — benching goes further.
- The floor is highly technical and spec-heavy — a frame-and-tile panel offers more.
