Description Gallery Finishes Downloads

Overview

Oxygen is benching done thoughtfully: clean shared spines, well-resolved engineering details, and just enough privacy from screens — a Best of NeoCon winner. Here’s how it works, and where it fits.

Refined, award-winning benching

Oxygen is Benching — the open, collaborative paradigm where teams work along shared, continuous runs. It builds from shared spine kits (powered, Chicago, or non-powered) in rectangular and 120-degree configurations, with returns, leg kits and modesty panels to shape a run. Worksurfaces are clean laminate; glass or PET privacy screens add a measure of separation, and floor and desktop storage keep it organized. Fast to deploy, and it shows the engineering refinement AIS has built into its lines over the last few years — clean spines, tidy leg and return kits, and well-integrated storage.

Why we believe in this

Oxygen proves that efficient benching can be genuinely well-designed. AIS has spent the last several years sharpening the product engineering and detailing across its lines — and Oxygen shows it, from the clean spine and leg kits to the way screens and storage integrate. It earns its place on design, not just price: it took Best of NeoCon Silver for benching, seats teams densely, and deploys fast. And because it’s an open system, where a team wants more acoustics or privacy we layer those in exactly where they help.

Our take

So here’s when we’d specify Oxygen — and when we’d point you elsewhere.

We believe in it, which is exactly why we’ll be straight about fit. The honest version:

Specify it when

  • You want refined, well-engineered benching — a Best of NeoCon winner.
  • Clean shared spines with just enough privacy from screens fit the floor.
  • You want an open, collaborative plan that still feels resolved.
  • You value a manufacturer that shares our standards and backs us up when a project needs it.

Consider something else when

  • Teams need full enclosure and acoustic privacy — a panel system fits better.
  • You want a warmer, residential feel — a desking system gets there more easily.
  • The plan will reconfigure constantly — an agile beam reconfigures faster.
  • Lowest cost per station leads over refinement.
Where we land: Oxygen is benching done thoughtfully — clean spines, resolved engineering, screen privacy where you need it, and the awards to back it. When the floor needs full enclosure, warmth, or agility, we’ll point you to a better-fit paradigm.

Can I get drawing symbols and CAD for space planning?
Yes — the Downloads section above includes 2D plan symbols, CAD (DWG), Revit/BIM, and SketchUp files, free to use within the products we curate.
How do I get pricing or specify it on a project?
Save it to a Project Board or request a quote, and our team will help you specify, price, and plan it for your space.
Is this a product I buy online?
