Overview

Tia is private-office casegoods with quiet, considered craft: a run-off desk on understated lifting columns, a refined credenza, and lifted-base storage that reads as calm and premium. Grain-matched surfaces, touch-latch doors and tech-ready cutouts keep it clean, and the same language carries from the executive suite to the conference room. Here’s how it works, and when to reach for it.

Private-office casegoods

Tia is a private-office casegoods collection from Watson — for a workspace that should feel calm, considered and quietly premium. It centers on a run-off desk carried on understated lifting columns, paired with a drawer-support credenza and secondary storage in locker and wardrobe styles. Watson’s eye shows in the small moves — thin cladding, grain-matching across surfaces, and a slightly elevated plinth base that lightens the feel of the storage — while touch-latch doors, removable adjustable shelves and tech-ready AV cutouts keep it clean and practical. The same language runs from the executive suite to the conference room, so a whole floor reads as one.

Why we believe in this

Tia is our pick when a private office should feel calm and considered, not corporate. Watson builds it to order in the USA, and the craft shows — grain-matched surfaces, touch-latch fronts, and a plinth base that makes heavy storage feel light. It won Best of NeoCon Gold in 2018 and has aged well because it was never trend-driven. When an executive suite needs to look quietly excellent and still work hard, Tia is the one we reach for.

Our take

So here’s when we’d specify Tia — and when we’d point you elsewhere.

We believe in it, which is exactly why we’ll be straight about fit. The honest version:

Specify it when

  • You want quiet, considered craft — a run-off desk on lifting columns, a refined credenza, lifted-base storage that reads calm and premium.
  • You want grain-matched surfaces, touch-latch doors and tech-ready cutouts.
  • You want a private office that feels understated and high-end.
  • You value a manufacturer that shares our standards and backs us up when a project needs it.

Consider something else when

  • You’re furnishing an open-plan workstation floor — a system fits better.
  • You want a bold, design-forward look.
  • Lowest-cost value leads.
  • You want a heavy, traditional executive look.
Where we land: Tia is private-office casegoods with quiet, considered craft — lifting columns, grain-matched surfaces, touch-latch doors. When you need open-plan workstations or a bolder look, we’ll point you elsewhere.
