Tables

Conference, training, café, and occasional tables — surfaces that anchor a room, reconfigure on demand, and match the casegoods around them.

Explore by type

Find your table.

A table is the surface a room is built around. We specify tables that fit the use — meet, train, gather, or pause — in finishes and edge profiles that match the casegoods program, with clean power and data where the work needs it.

Questions, answered.

About Tables

How are the table types organized?
By how the space is used: Conference & Meeting for boardrooms and meeting rooms (formal or informal); Collaborative & Huddle for small open-plan and team sessions; Training flip-top and nesting tables; Multipurpose mobile/flexible event tables; Bistro & Hightop counter- and bar-height; Dining seated breakroom and cafeteria; Occasional coffee/side/end and pull-up laptop tables; and Height-Adjustable sit-stand tables (the same bases we spec as desks). We match the table to how the room actually gets used.
Can tables integrate power and data?
Yes — grommets, wire troughs, and pop-up or flip-up power/data modules keep devices charged and cables managed, especially on conference and collaborative tables. We spec the right access for the room without cluttering the surface.
Do you offer reconfigurable and mobile tables?
Yes — flip-top, nesting, and caster-mounted tables let one room serve training, events, and team work, then fold and store flat. Ideal for multipurpose and flexible spaces.
Can table heights and finishes match our casegoods?
We specify seated, counter, and standing heights, and match laminates, veneers, and edge profiles to the casegoods and workstations program so everything reads as one coordinated interior.

Working with Applied Ergonomics

What types of projects does Applied Ergonomics work on?
We work on projects of all sizes, from single-office setups to multi-floor corporate buildouts. Our services span workspace strategy, interior design, furniture specification, procurement, project management, and installation across healthcare, education, corporate, industrial, and hospitality environments.
How does the consultation process work?
We start with a conversation to understand your goals, challenges, and timeline. From there we develop a tailored approach that may include space planning, product recommendations, and a detailed proposal. There’s no obligation, and we’re happy to answer questions at any stage.
Do you work with architects and interior designers?
Absolutely. We regularly partner with architects and interior designers as a technical and execution resource, translating design intent into specific, high-performing solutions.
What geographic areas do you serve?
We serve clients nationally. While we’re headquartered in the Chicago area, our project management and installation capabilities extend across the United States.
Do you support ongoing facility needs after a project is complete?
Yes. We remain a consistent point of contact beyond project closeout—handling warranty coordination, reconfigurations, internal moves, modular system relocation and reuse, redesigns, and more. Our goal is continuity, not re-procurement.
